3 Tips To Get In Your Best Swimsuit
Think you're not ready for a swimsuit? Yes you are!
As a stylist, I always hear that clients dread swimsuit shopping and often never feel confident in their swimwear. Every woman deserves to have a swimsuit that makes them feel just as glowy as the summer sun.
When it comes to choosing the perfect suit for my clients, there are things I consider about my client's body and how that will translate when she puts a suit on. Here are 3 quick tips to help you get in your best swimsuit. Spoiler alert: keep reading to the end for links to your next pool party look!
1. A busy all over curved print will disguise a tummy on a one piece. A curved print refers to florals, paisleys, polka dots or anything abstract. The eye won't know where to stop on the suit and it will take emphasis away from the midsection.
2. Broad shoulders? Opt for a suit with wide straps. Think about when you see a couple together where the woman is really petite and the man is super tall. Just standing next to him can make her appear even shorter. A thin strap on a broad shoulder is the same concept.
3. Choose a suit with a high leg opening to create the illusion of longer leaner legs. Doing so tells the eye that the leg starts much higher than it actually does, making your legs appear longer!
