An American Classic: Jeans and Tee

It doesn’t get more basic than a white tee and jeans. Don’t confuse basic for boring. I’m not sure how or why that happens, maybe because often times people forget the most important part of wearing a basic look… accessories and visual interest. I remember once with a client, she was looking for a formal dress but wanted it to be ‘different’ and ‘flashy’. I made some friends, settled into my new job, and quickly found myself less reliant on my GPS.

One Dress, Three Ways

You’ve heard it before, its not about how much clothes you have, its about the quality of the clothes you have. I’ll take that one step further, and say that it’s about what clothes you have. When you have a balance of essentials and statement pieces in your closet, you can make countless outfits. Speaking of essentials, have you downloaded the ’12 Closet Essentials to Maximize your Wardrobe’ guide yet? Today I wanted to put my list to the test and show you how I styled the same black dress, three different ways for three different occasions- all using items off the essentials guide.

Fashion Daily Daydream

Does all this quarantine life have you daydreaming of all the events you had planned for March and April and now probably May? Do your Facebook memories have you reminiscing of all the cool places you went 5 years ago?
