a beautiful year
What does beauty mean to you? Can something be irregular and beautiful? I’ve always found beauty in unexpected things, but recently a article in In Style magazine has me pushing my thoughts of beauty just a bit further. While reading this issue, I came across an article featuring a model smiling with less than perfect teeth, even missing her front tooth. I caught myself thinking why did the company choose her to pose for this article? I felt like I had been brainwashed by perfect pearly whites thinking that she shouldn’t be featured with her imperfect pout. Could I not see her beauty? And then I stopped myself. Beautiful doesn’t have to be this standard of symmetry. Why shouldn’t this woman have an opportunity to be celebrated in this magazine? We all deserve an opportunity to feel beautiful and there is something beautiful about all women. Then it got me thinking of my work, and how each one of my clients is different from the next and they are all beautiful. So really what makes something beautiful? Its not this stigma of symmetry, but more of a celebration of the asymmetrical. Beauty to me is feeling comfortable in your own skin, embracing what makes you YOU, and having a style that tells your story, not someone else’s.
Style that tells your story… That is something that is so important to me when working with my clients. As your image consultant its my job to create a wardrobe for you. A wardrobe that fits your lifestyle and tells your story in the most beautiful way. In 2021, my clients BROUGHT IT! They came out ready to get dressed and I know its just going to continue to soar from there! I’ve already said it… 2022 is going to be absolutely epic. I believe it, I’m preparing for it, and I’m bringing it. My excitement level is straight through the roof for you all and for my job as an image consultant. You can expect more blogs, more reels and more 1 on 1 access to me this year.
As I step into 2022, I find this article I read still resonating with me that I feel as if its become an underlying theme. My goal is always to give my clients a confidence boost with their wardrobe, have them stand a little taller and expect compliments. But I also want to help you feel beautiful and believe it.
