Closet Audit at a 'Distance'
The Closet Audit service might be my favorite service I offer. I sometimes hear from other image consultants that they don’t like going out to clients’ closets. That its a lot, and that its work they don’t really want to do. Is it a lot? Sure. Its 4 hours of you and I in your closet together, trying on clothes and making piles that tell a garment’s destiny- keep, discard, donate, tailor.
But let me tell you what else it is.
It is a time that a unique bond is created between myself and my clients. Your wardrobe is a glimpse into your personality, your lifestyle, your innermost self. A closet audit puts it all on display.
It is a deep dive into your wardrobe and your personal style that allows me as your image consultant to understand what you are doing right or wrong, what makes you smile, what you gravitate towards and what repels you.
Its is a image self discovery session because it’s not just about the clothes. What do you want others to think upon meeting you? How do you want to be perceived? It’s my job to cultivate a wardrobe for you that says those things while adhering to your lifestyle.
It all starts in the closet.
But we’re in an interesting time right now. A time when I can’t come out to your home. But let me tell you what I can do. I can guide you through the process for you to complete while you are home. I can deliver a checklist to you and have a morning video call with you to give you the tools to tackle this on your own (well kind of).
