Why Your Amazon Outfits Look Like Sh*t

Have you fallen victim to Amazon fashion? You need something new for an event in 48 hours so you turn to Amazon. Or maybe its one of those late nights where you’re trolling your Instagram feed and one of those Amazon/Walmart/Target fashion bloggers pops up wearing the most amazing dress. Simply Sophisticated Summer

Does anyone else feel like 4th of July is like an unwritten mile marker of summer? If I relate it to a horse race, 4th of July would be the midpoint on the backstretch before the horses give it all they’ve got to the finish line. That analogy seems fitting for me being from Upstate NY where the Saratoga Race Track is an iconic summer hot spot. Its not only a place for recreation but the fashion! Needless to say, even though I feel like summer is slipping away, there is plenty of fun to be had in the next 6 weeks or so and I’ve got two tips for you on how to make the rest of July and August effortlessly stylish.

'Would Be Cute if I Were Thinner'

Did that title catch your attention? Bet so.

I was online shopping the other day and was reading reviews when I came across a review title that said just that, ‘Would be cute if I were thinner’. We drove about 45 minutes to a kayaking spot. The drive is peppered with farms and beautiful homes set back on large pastures. This may not sound like much or out of the ordinary to you, this gal grew up in Upstate New York in a modest home, in a neighborhood where all of my neighbors were visible followed by a short stint in NYC. No farms there.
